With over two decades as a drummer across genres like indie rock, pop punk, metal, and a Blink-182 cover band, Ryan has immersed himself in the world of sound. His experience working at two Pittsburgh recording studios, combined with extensive workshops on acoustics, production, and mixing, has equipped him with a deep understanding of how to craft spaces that empower musicians to capture their best sound and unleash their most creative selves.

Driven by a passion for helping others, Ryan draws on his background as a high school drumline section leader, graphic design, and his diverse musical journey to make the dark art of acoustics approachable, designing environments at GIK Acoustics that inspire musicians, music, and movie lovers to feel confident and expressive by blending visual appeal with acoustic precision.

He stays attuned to the evolving currents of audio creation through sync licensing projects with various music libraries and collaboration with a former CBS music editor. On weekends, he recharges with strong black coffee, spinning a Miles Davis record, or enjoying a round of disc golf or hiking, bringing fresh energy to every project he undertakes for the Monday to come.
