Create Freestanding Acoustic Control

Freestand Feet make it easy to deploy panels anywhere in the room, even where mounting isn’t possible. Use them in front of doors, windows, or glass walls, or anywhere in a rental scenario where no mounting hardware can be used on the walls.

Perfect for Recording and Tracking

Movable panels are a powerful tool in recording environments. With Freestand Feet, you can bring panels in close to a singer, instrument, or microphone to create tighter, more controlled recording zones. Also allows reversible use, with hybrid Amplitude binary diffusion on one side, and simple absorption on the other, to dial in the exact recorded tone you need.

Flexible Placement for Evolving Rooms

Studios, offices, and home theaters change over time. Freestand Feet let your acoustic treatment adapt with you—rearrange your panels for new workflows, new speaker positions, or temporary setups. No drilling, no commitment, just clean, stable acoustic performance wherever you need it.

FAQ

Which GIK products are the Freestand Feet compatible with?

Freestand Feet are a compatible add-on GIK Amplitude panels. They come already included by default on our FreeStand products as well. Freestand Feet are not compatible with standard FlexRange panels or other product families.

Will the feet support the panel safely on carpet or hard flooring?

Yes. The wide base and rubberized pads ensure stability on most floor surfaces, including hardwood, concrete, and low-pile carpet.

Can the panel still be wall-mounted after using Freestand Feet?

Absolutely. The feet attach and detach easily with screws, so you can switch between freestanding and wall-mounted setups whenever needed.

Do Freestand Feet affect acoustic performance?

No. They simply support the panel and do not block absorption. In some cases, the slight air gap behind a freestanding panel can even improve low-frequency performance.
